The CA280DSP is a highly flexible, powerful and compact 2-channel-amplifier with integrated DSP. It delivers up to 2x140 Watts at 4 or 8 ohms or up to 1x280 Watts in mono-bridge-mode.

Developed as a modern tool it contains highly flexible DSP functionalities. Up to 30 EQs per output channel are possible. Bell- und Lo/Hi-Shelving-Filter with variable band width (Q-Factor) as well as notch filter are available. The high- and low-pass-filters have slopes from 6 to 24 dB/octave incl. Bessel, Butterworth and Linkwitz-Riley. An automated room-eq is possible using an external ASIO-card and microphone connected to a PC.

The functions are controlled via Windows-Software, which sends the settings wireless directly to the device. For that purpose the CA280DSP provides a dedicated WLAN access point. Because the device has an automatic on/off-mode, it can be placed invisibly behind a rack and configured wireless. But also placed visible in your rack the compact CA280DSP looks neat with its black anodised aluminium front plate.

The CA280DSP offers Chinch as well as symmetrical XLR-inputs via an adapter cable that is supplied by ModalAkustik on request (Phoenix connector to Chich or XLR). Via a button on the front plate the user can switch between three frely configurable presets. That enables the user to configure different presets e.g. for music and movies, or for different music styles.

The Cs280DSP contains a highly efficient switching power supply and two class-D outputs stages made by a renowned manufacturer with low distortion, high efficiency factor and comprehensive safetly functions. That means the device can drive up to two ModalAkustik MusikBass subwoofer or one MusikBass in bridged mode. Thze high damping factor of the class-D power amplifier allows a high control over the cassis movement and therefore an especially dry bass. An efficient heat dissipation system and overheat protection allow a high reliability and quiet, fan-less design.
